START OVER if your need to.
Make tomorrow a new day!
The true trick is knowing how to mentally win and everyone needs to trick their brain differently.
TRICK YOUR BRAIN. Toss out the fear of failure thoughts whatever way you can. I hate how we tell ourselves we can't do it or our metabolism isn't capable. That's bologna and you know it.
We can and we will if we just get out of our own way. The power to transform is not found in a gym or fancy diet.
ITS YOUR BRAIN! SHES IS YOUR ENEMY AND THE ONLY THING STANDING IN YOUR WAY.
Everything in life is a mind game. That is the secret to life, fortune, success, weight loss, and I am telling you that you can move mountains if you train your brain that she is not longer in charge.
You are taking your body back, you are taking you life back and you are going to keep it once and for all!!
EXERCISE, FITNESS AND PLASTIC SURGERY
Exercise helps you lose unwanted weight. Fitness helps you maintain your wanted weight. Plastic Surgery does what?
Plastic Surgery is often lumped into the "cheating" mentality of looking a certain way without earning it. But that is not entirely true,.
Yes there are those that want breasts that are far too large to fit one's frame naturally, but that is far less common these days. Most patients just want a restoration on the assets that they we born with or "just a little more".
So where does plastic surgery fit into when it comes to exercise and fitness?
Excess skin, that's where. What about the millions of people who lose weight then maintain their weight, but now have inherited an exorbitant amount of excess skin? They want to get that body that they earned through hardwork, discipline and dedication too. The reality is that when all the weight is lost, all the excess skin is gained and often times the weight looks better on, than the excess skin. It's a common debate heard all to often in plastic surgeon offices all over the world. "I lost all this weight, but now have all this skin!"
Don't be shy to get a consultation. Many are free or less than $100 to find out what is best for you, your body frame and your budget. Millions have benefited from plastic surgery after weight loss and there is no shame in restoring your youth. You worked hard doing all that was in your power. Plastic Surgeons lift what weights cannot.

How to lose weight is a simple understanding of mathematics. If you understand the formula you will see that in order to lose weight, you must consume fewer calories than what your body needs to maintain your current undesired weight. If you do this, you inevitability lose weight.
Like with all weight loss is it always good to clear certain diets and exercises with your doctor before starting anything new. Studies suggest to not lose more than 2 pounds per week and although there are very aggressive fast ways to lose weight, they aren't sustainable over long periods of time and aren't recommended.
Weight loss is determined on gender, age, current weight, level of physical activity. The best way to determine how many calories you need is to use a calorie calculator.
Enter in all the information to see how many calories you are consuming to maintain your current weight and write it down. Next enter in everything the same again except this time enter in your desired weight. Subtract the amount of calories the calculator says you need to be at your goal weight from the calories the calculator said you needed to maintain your weight. The difference between the two calculations tell you deficit in your diet that you need to create to make this happen.
There are lots of ways to cut calories in small ways to help you eat similar to the way you were before but with a few changes you can be well on your way.
1. Replace bread with a lettuce leaf
2. Scoop out the bread out of a Subway sandwich when you eat out. You won't even notice the difference when you eat your sandwich and can shave as much as 80 calories from your lunch
3. Omit Cheese and dairy of all kinds from your diet
4. Drink sugar free and calorie drinks if water is still not your thing quite yet
5. If you treat yourself. Only have a bite or two or half of what you normally eat
6. Don't have large breakfasts. Many people spend more than half if not all their calories for the day as soon as the sun comes up.
7. Try to drink lots more water in the morning and ease into your caloric intake.
8. Load up on vegetables of all kinds that are raw or cooked and if you have a salad stick to non creamy versions.
Math and weight loss truly go hand in hand and as you get better at this and start achieving your results you will notice that being calorie conscience becomes second nature.

NEXT ARTICLE If You Lack Discipline, Create a Lack of Opportunity and Temptation
SPRAY YOUR TEMPTATION AND YOU WONT WANT TO EAT IT ANYMORE!
Don't just throw it in the trash because you still might be tempted to take it back out. Depending on what it is, I must confess I have done it so the only sure fire way to save myself from the temptation is to spray it with cleaner such as Windex as fast as I can so that there is no longer a temptation to eat it! Laugh now, but I am telling you with all my soul, this trick works!
Who here doesn't like to bake cookies, cakes, brownies or lick homemade frosting from the bowl? I promise you that happy feeling doesn't go away even if you have lost all the weight. (Your cravings for it and the amounts you can handle without feeling ill is depleted though which is a good news announcement for you when you lose all the weight and work at keeping it off).
The truth is you will always love baked sugary sweets so don't have them in your house. And definitely don't lie to yourself saying that these brownies you are baking aren't for you but for your kids or your neighbor. All that does if give you another temptation to fight and cross your fingers you don't fail because you will be beating yourself up the rest of the day which only makes you feel like a compete and total failure which then leads you down the despair feeling rabbit hole where only binge eating ensues. Ugh! How is that for the longest sentence ever written? So... spare yourself and just don't bake the brownies. Your kids will live and your neighbor is trying to lose weight so do her a favor and don't bring the war on sugar to her!
You aren't strong by overcoming temptation. It only messes with your mind and stresses you out. The best way to overcome is to create a lack of opportunity. If it isn't there, you can't eat it. I once heard on an Oprah Winfrey show that if she is super tempted to eat something in her house she shouldn't like that last piece of cake or pie that she would spray Windex cleaner on it right away to ruin it. I actually tried that and it really works! You never want to eat cake with cleaner on it. Also to my surprise the temptation went away immediately because the cake was no longer edible and therefore the opportunity to cheat was gone.
Stay out of the places that make you want to eat the things you shouldn't and pack food for your car so you don't feel like you have to stop and make an impulse drive through run out of impulse. Even if I am at a drive through I won't eat the bun on any burger and eat only half my fries and my soda is always diet. Not the healthiest but certainly could have been worse. Remind yourself that it can always be worse and allow yourself to evolve into health and fitness. You can't "boot camp" you way into it and expect lasting change. Love, patience and forgiveness keeps your heart from breaking and your progress heading in the right direction. Remember if all you had to do was get there and not learn to maintain, then it would be okay to starve yourself for a month, but that's not life . Life is temptations and opportunities we can accept or reject that lead us closer or farther from our goals. Life is also about keeping what we have achieved.
So ask yourself this question.. .Do I want to get there? and when I get there do I want to keep it? What can I do to not sabotage my dreams? It's all within you my friend. Dig deep and bring out the fighter that lives within all of us.
Next Article Food: Food Itself Didn't Make You Fat and Food Itself Isn't Going to Make You Thin
Food itself didn't make you fat and food itself isn't going to make you thin. It is one of the many misconceptions that people have about weight gain and weight loss that has even evaded me in the past.
Unless you are incapable of feeding yourself, then you don't have anyone to blame on what you actually consume or don't consume. Every single day we have the conscience choice of what we are going to eat and not eat so when we look at the scale we have no one but ourselves to thank good or bad.
For years I struggled with the scale because I wouldn't take responsibility for my choices. Not only that, I started to collect every healthy cookbook and workout DVD I could get my hands on just like everyone else seeking for the "body of their dreams" and through it all, I was missing just one simple thing... consistent application.
No cookbook is going to put the food in my mouth and no workout DVD was going to do the push ups for me. And maybe that's a good thing because we certainly wouldn't be able to maintain it the results if that were the case and therefore don't deserve to be thin and fit as you can read in my previous article here.
Once you realize that this is the only way to reshape your body and your health, you will stop the inanity of "buying" fitness. It's not like those glue-on eyelashes from Rite-Aid we all love. You can't just strap on fitness and despite our best attempts to squeeze into fitness, thanks to spanx brand panties at the end of the day because it's fleeting.
I know you want a fairy tale ending where we wake up looking and feeling like we always wanted and are frustrated that that isn't the way it happens. No one gets healthy this way and you don't need me to tell you that.
Believe me when I tell you I fought with the same frustration you feel now and only after years of struggle did I finally understand that the only way it was going to happen was if me , myself and I teamed up together and forced the change to happen. Not once was I perfect nor am I perfect today, but I am persistent in my efforts towards progression which then brought me to my present long term results. You can read more about this concept in this article persistent progress versus perfection
So take it from me and stop buying fitness and health. You have everything you need within yourself to get there so long as you actually apply the steps and not just read them.
